Lessons From Rwanda

We have seen throughout this web site how the the Trinitarian and antinomian churches like the the Roman Catholic Church have been deeply involved in the genocide. The Catholic church has sought to have complete power and control of the populace of every country it can gain a foot hold in. This church has used every weapon it could in its pursuit of total world domination. From the time of Constantine onwards the Roman faction of those calling themselves Christian have used the secular powers to further advance their quest. In its early stages, the Roman Church needed to corrupt the true doctrines of the faith in order to allow for a further expansion of her own powers. Eventually, the Holy Roman Empire would be established binding the secular and non-secular authorities together, each using the other for the benefit of all those in positions of authority. Whenever this arrangement was threatened, this beast power would strike vehemently at those non-conformists seeking to upset the status quo. As we have seen in this web site, some of the most inhumane and grotesque acts were perpetrated by those in power upon those whose only crime was to act on what they believed to be the truth. From the persecutions and murders of the Waldenses, to the Albigensian crusades, to the Inquisitions and on into the Holocaust of the twentieth century we have seen countless acts of violence, cruelty, and torture inflicted upon those who are a threat to the Catholic church.

When talking to the average Catholic lay person about their own church's history, the typical response is that, well there are always going to be some bad apples in any group, besides, those things happened long ago, they can't happen today. They completely fail to understand that their own church has had the same modus operandi for the last fifteen hundred years or more. They fail to grasp that it's not a few 'bad apples', but rather it's a mindset throughout the church hierarchy that the church must stay in power at all cost. They have totally lost site of their commission if ever they understood it in the first place.

To those who say that the persecutions caused by the Catholic church in past centuries could not happen in today's world, this author has one word of reply; Rwanda. When first told that the massacres that happened in this tiny African nation in the beginning of the 1990's were caused by and large by the Catholic church, the writer was stunned. He had never heard that before. Having decided to look into the truth of what took place, he was in for one shock after another. In fact, only days into the research the following two headlines appeared in the news: Former Rwandan Minister's Trial Begins Next Week and Nuns go on trial for Rwandan genocide.

It became apparent rather quickly that the roots of the genocide that took place in Rwanda were firmly established by the Catholic and to a much lesser extent Protestant missionaries dating back to the beginning of the twentieth century. In typical Catholic execution of its plan for dominance, the missionaries first set out to convert the national authorities. Having done that, they would then proceed to convert the masses who would be much easier game now that their leaders were firmly in the control of the Catholic Church. After having converted the population they would next go about instilling their European values into the populace. Just as they did in Rome centuries ago, they would form an unwritten union with the secular powers and establish a status quo whereby many of the elite in government would be Catholic operatives. They would form bonds between the church and state such that when their power base was threatened, they would be able to use the force of the government to eradicate the threat. It is the same method of operation that has been used by the Roman Church for centuries. It is exactly this arrangement that the Apostle John had seen in allegorical vision written for our sake in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 17:1-6 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

The kings of the earth have indeed committed fornication with this system. They have allowed her to use them against their own people in order to reap quick rewards. In his research paper titled "Christian Churches and Genocide in Rwanda", Timothy Longman makes a very strong case against the Catholic churches' actions in the Rwandan genocide. He states that ".it should be clear that the failings of the Rwandan churches during the genocide were not the result of a few corrupt individuals but rather were deeply rooted in the very nature of Christianity in Rwanda." He is absolutely correct. It is the very nature of the Catholic system to need to be able to resort to the force of arms to maintain their elitist positions. Without the use of force, their system would crumble to pieces. When a population uses its freedom to actively seek the truth, the false system of Catholicism cannot stand. The only way it has endured for nearly two millennia is by persecuting and murdering all of it's opposition. It is almost identical to the communist systems we have seen this century. When the Soviet Union failed to use force at the end of the 1980's, its system fell apart. The communist Chinese learned their lesson from this and used force to crack down on dissenters as was seen in the Tianneman Square massacre. When the Catholic Church no longer has access to the force of arms of the secular governments, it's fate will be the same as that of the Soviet Union. Again, that is what the Apostle John saw in Revelation 17:16.

Revelation 17:15-17 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

So when the final empire of this age turns on this religious organisation, it shall be left desolate and destroyed. Until that time, this church will use whatever power it has to maintain it's position.

Those of you reading this and other documents on this web site would do well to take heed to the following conclusion also reached by Timothy Longman: "While never publicly endorsing genocide, the churches nevertheless are complicit because they helped to create and maintain the authoritarian and divided society that made genocide possible and because the entanglement of the churches with the state made the churches partners in state policy. People could thus kill their fellow Christians on church property and believe that their actions were consistent with church teachings. The complicity of the churches in the genocide is not merely a failing of Christianity in Rwanda, but of world Christianity as it has established itself in Africa, and it should lead people of faith throughout the world to question the nature of religious institutions and the ways in which they exercise their power."

We should indeed question the religious institutions, especially those that must resort to torture and murder to maintain their system. That was not what Jesus Christ taught. What he did teach can be found at www.ccg.org.
